Our Approach
Complex data.
Approachable analysis.
The Center for Civic Research and Innovation (CCRI) is relentless in its commitment to improving the St. Louis region.
In communities across America, whether metropolitan cities or rural small towns, there is often no institution capable of informing needed dialogue around key issues in a sustained, data-driven, and action-oriented manner.
This void often leaves community leaders reactive and unable to make policy decisions based on the best available data and information.
Working with partners, CCRI leverages the experience and focus of a dedicated nonprofit to convene data resources and insights that inform civic and nonprofit leaders seeking actionable solutions for their communities—finding the story that data, through experienced analysis, can tell.
CCRI aspires to create a culture of data, attract renowned resources and expertise, and elevate others who share our values and do good in the communities they serve. CCRI is passionate about creating a collaborative force across sectors and geography—united by public, private, and proprietary data sources—to innovate solutions for short- and long-term community needs.
